I can't seem to figure out how to only show a comment on the page the comment is posted on. Right now, if a person makes a comment on a page, that comment is then displayed on every page on our site. This could get quite ugly after awhile. I'm probably missing something stupid - but am just not seeing it. Help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
Can you please elaborate more about your issue? Not too sure what you meant by "displayed on every page on your site". Do you mean you only want comments to appear on selective categories? You can configure this under Integrations > Joomla Articles.

I have added a URL to one of the pages of our site to provide an example - but if you click on any page - you will see that all comments (we don't have many yet - but am expecting to get more) show up at the end of every page.

I see that you can restrict comments based on category, but I guess I initially thought that a comment posted on one page, would just be displayed on that page - not every page. Almost each page is associated with a distinct category but in rare instances there could be several to many pages for a few categories and then I would expect the comments to display on each of those pages with the same category.

Example: I have a distinct category for each 19th century photographer and that category is associated to the page for that photographer. If a person posts a comment on a specific photographer's page, I want that comment to only be displayed on that page. This URL shows the page for a specific photographer:

http://www.itsallaboutfamily.com/j3/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=2303&Itemid=101&lang=en

but you will see comments for other photographers on this page.

How do I specify that comment is only to display for category of the page it is created on? I don't see a way to do this.

I would also like an administrative page to include all comments for admin management.

I just do not want all comments on every page.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello Donna,

I've checked your site and I can't find any comment section displayed. Did I miss anything? Also can you provide us your backend and FTP so we can have a better look on your issue here?
