Having just installed the Komento component in my Joomla 3.3.6 site ( on localhost ), clicking the 'comment' link gives a 'Not Found' error and it's obvious that the URL has the directory element duplicated e.g. ' /ja purity template/quickstart/ja purity template/quickstart/index.php/blog-page/113-miscellaneous/302-jms-third-blog'. Has anyone any idea why this might be and what I need to do to correct it?
Hello John,

Perhaps you have set your menu item incorrectly thus causing the url duplication. By the way it seems like you are using a free version of Komento in which the technical support is not included in this free version. Hope you understand

Hello Ezrul
In the circumstances, I thank you very much for your reply. In the spirit of customer 'feedback', I should inform you that I assumed (wrongly) that the support system wouldn't encourage me to sign up and then provide the facility for me to submit a ticket if a level of support wasn't included. I thought low-level support was probably provided so that my experience of the free package would encourage me to upgrade.
Anyway, I haven't found anything in the Menu Item configuration, or any of the Komento configuration that makes any difference. I've still got the problem.

Hi John,

Thank you for your response. Justin here, from Stack Ideas' marketing team. I apologize if any of our system gave you a wrong impression; the reason for us to ask for a signup is so that we can provide you with a download; we can't allow free download without signups due to some internal reasons.

As for the ticket, we allow our users to send ticket for any Pre-sales inquiry; though Komento free is usable, we'll only provide support to the Pro and Unlimited license holders. For us to provide the same level of support for both our paying users and free users would be unfair.

I hope this clears things up. If you like Komento, do support us by getting the Pro version. I personally assure you that our support team is the best team in the Joomla community.
