Komento 3.0.12 and template overwerite?

In the past we (3.0.*) we use a template overwrite in order to show a different design for Komento. For that approach we copied www_run/components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/comment to /www_run/templates/templatename/html/com_komento/comment. However with version 3.0.12 this no longer works and the user get error messages when they try to access the website. We setup a test environment and saw that there is no longer a www_run/components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/comment folder...

So how can we use a template overwrite in order to change the design from Komento?

The comments theme folder is still there and the files that are responsible to output komento layout is located in the folder /components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/comments/

Yes but before it was a comment folder without "s". So we need to rebuild the komento remplate and use the /components/com_komento/themes/wireframe/comments/ folder now and copy the comments folder into the same folder where we placed the comment one in the past?
