For some reason the buttons in configuration->database of new Komento 2 do not work on my site. I tried different admin templates, but they don't work. Looks like a jQuery issue, but there is no extra jQuery as I can see. How can I manually start the migration? No comments are shown!
Hello Guido,

May I know if the comment is not showing on your site? Can you try to go to your backend > komento > ACL > choose the components > click on public user group > save (without changing any settings). Repeat the process for all the user group and see how it goes.

If the issue still persist, kindly provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help to apply the fix directly.

The comment form is shown but the old comments do not show because they were version 1. I need to migrate the database as shown in the image. The buttons for migration don't work.

I'm also somewhat lost. I installed 2.0 on a test server and received a message about a possible database update after the install was completed.

I get no reaction from hitting the "Start" buttons on the database update page. My live site is still using 1.8.3 and my test site was at that version before the 2.0 update. Is the database update needed for an upgrade from 1.8.3?

Hello Guys,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you download the attachment below and place it inside /administrator/components/com_komento/views/system/tmpl/ folder and see how it goes?

I placed the file as instructed and tried using both start buttons.

Under Populate Depth, I had a response on 8 articles (which I think are all I've got on the test server).
Under Fix Structure, I had the process "act" like an update was being accomplished, but no verification at the end. I tried this with the * (which I'm assuming is all articles). I also tried it with "Select Component" using EasyBlog and Joomla Article. I also used the choices under the "Select Article". Again...... I had a "progress" indication, but no verification of completion.

To repeat, all this is being done on a test server, but I would think my live site would react the same.

Also as a note: the downloaded file was a "copy and replace" into the folder directed by StackIdeas.

Hello Mark,

Thanks for the heads up on this issue. I've been informed by our Komento developer and the fix will be included in the next release soon.

I've just installed version 2.0 and I've lost thousands of comments. They are still there, but not showing on the article page. What can I do to fix this?
