I had installed both Komento Pro and HWDmediashare on my Joomla website, and integrated them to allow commenting on videos.

Today I inspected my HWDmediashare page with Chrome browser, I got following error:

Ok, a good news now:

After trying and test, I found out the culprit: That was a system plugin named "Ads Starter Elite" (plg_system_adsstarterelite) which was installed several days ago to show Google Ads.

In fact that module did not show my Ads up. I forgot to uninstall it.

Now after installing of this plugin, no more js errors there.

Thank you for helping me. I had sent you the installation packages, both zip file need to be installed.

simple steps :

1. Install both zip files;
2. go to HWDmediashare backend, create a category, then add a new media (video) into this category.
3. when adding new media, use "remote media file" type. I used remote mp4 file.
4. create a new menu item on mainmenu, type is "HWDmediashare -> category list".
5. go to komento Pro backend, enable integration for HWDmediashare.
6. go to frontend, open HWDmediashare page, inspect it with Google Chrome browser.

Thanks, I already received these installer what you send to me just now.

But I still can't figure out how to set hwdmediashare integration section even i already enabled all the hwdmediashare plugin? For example the comment system.

I remember previously they got 1 section for integration setting, but now it didn't appear from the hwdmediashare extension?

May i know do you know how to configure this section so that I can make the komento form show on video page?

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that we need to choose Komento Pro for commenting system in HWDmediashare.

1. Go to HWDmediashare backend -> Configuration -> Integration
2. In Community -> Comments, choose "Komento".

Now they will work together.

I tried to find but I can't found out that "integration" option from the hwdmediashare configuration page, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Am I missed something here?

By the way, may i know how to go this setting from backend?

hi, sorry I did not give you perfect steps. That is a long time after I had installed them on my website, maybe I forgot some details.

Well, could you please check maybe some HWDMediashare plugins not enabled?

In Joomla "plugin manager", please enable ALL plugins related to HWDMediashare.

If you open the installer package hwdmediashare_premium_addons_3.zip, you can see that there is a zip file named plg_hwdmediashare_comments_komento.zip , of course this is for Komento Pro integration.

Maybe you did not enable that plugin?

I know you are take pains to help me. I really appreciate your efforts.

It okay, I already enabled all the Hwdmediashare plugins from backend, but it still missing for the some reason.

Then I try to inspect that configuration page tab HTML element, I just untick that CSS display:none, then it show up already.

By the way, I've tested in my locally, it seems I can't replicate this error, you can take a look of my short video here : http://screencast.com/t/jTXeOQLQ6n

Am i missing something here? please advise.

Could you please switch to Gantry Default template v4.1.31 + Gantry Framework 4.1.31 ? I noticed that you use Protostar template in your test. But my template is Gantry4.

That Gantry Framework and template can be downloaded from its official website by free, in a bundle for both files:

I already updated my locally to use this Gantry framework template, but I still can't able to reproduce this issue, you can check my video here : http://screencast.com/t/ogRM1080Nk7t

My STEP :
---------------
1. Download that template from the link you provided
2. Install this template from my locally
3. Go to template manager > set this Gantry template to default
4. Refresh my locally homepage then click on video category listing page and check the comment form

Hm, by the way, It would be best if you can provide us with your site access so we can better have a look.

Which player do you use for video playing in HWDMediashare? I choose to use "jwplayer", version 7, skin: 7 .

It can be set in "plugin manager" of Joomla, with filter "jwplayer".

If your test still proves no error, maybe my js error was caused by something else?

At time 0:48 ( 48th seconds), look at the console of Chrome, there is :

komento-2.0.6.static.min.js:150


Just notice the bottom right of your video.

Is this a js error?
