Attached is the free version of Komento 1.7 Beta.

This installer is compatible with Joomla 2.5, 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2.

Please post bug reports by creating new threads and understand that we might not be able to provide a patch directly. We would discourage you to install this on your live site as it might caused unexpected issues.

Pro users can just install this beta over, and all the pro-supported themes and component will remain intact and usable.

Major updates in this version:

1. Improved client side loading speed. Komento now only loads 1 single client compressed script, and this significantly speeds up page load time.

2. EasySocial integration. Komento now integrates with EasySocial in various aspects:
2a. EasySocial Avatar (Integrations -> Select Component -> Layout -> Avatar)
2b. EasySocial Profile (Integrations -> Select Component -> Layout -> Avatar -> Use Komento Profile -> No)
2c. EasySocial Notifications (Integrations -> Select Component -> Notifications -> EasySocial)
2d. EasySocial Points System (Integrations -> Select Component -> Activities -> EasySocial)
2e. EasySocial Badges (Integrations -> Select Component -> Activities -> EasySocial)
2f. EasySocial Stream Posting (Integrations -> Select Component -> Activities -> EasySocial)
2g. EasySocial 2 way data sync (Integrations -> Select Component -> Activities -> EasySocial)
2h. EasySocial Login Provider (Integrations -> Select Component -> Workflow -> Login Provider)

Important note:

1. For EasySocial Points System to work, after installing Komento, go to EasySocial -> Points -> Discover to initialise Komento's points.
2. For EasySocial Badges to work, after installing Komento, go to EasySocial -> Badges -> Discover to initialise Komento's badges
3. For EasySocial Notifications to work, after installing Komento, go to EasySocial -> Alerts -> Discover to initialise Komento's alert rules.
4. For EasySocial stream posting and data sync to work, you will have to either set the "Comments" App in EasySocial to be default app for every user, or the user will have to install it themselves.

Updated rev 4092
- Added missing EasySocial Login Provider Integration
- Fixed backend ACL page throwing PHP error due to model conflict
Known issues with Joomla 3.2

ACL for unregistered users is not obeyed.

This is not an issue with Komento. There is a bug with Joomla 3.2 where the usergroup for unregistered users is not assigned correctly. To fix this, go to System -> Global Configuration -> Users Manager -> New User Registration Group and set the appropriate usergroup, and click on save.

Clicking on save is important in this case to make sure that the data is saved properly.
