I'm creating two Group Categories. One category is for "Tickers Groups" and the other is the "User's Groups". What I'd like to see if it's all possible, is to hide the Ticket Group category (Which I have already done) and allow the User's Group to remain visible. I see I Can still access the groups within the Ticker's Groups category, which is exactly what I want.

Now, what I'd like to do is to be able to hide the groups within the Ticker Groups category so they do not show up in the list when the member clicks on Groups from the navigation bar because we will be creating a script that auto create in excess of 20K groups (1 for each stock ticker) within the Tickers Group category. However, the user will be able to find the Ticker Group using the search feature.

The only groups I want listed are those that are in the User's Groups category. Is something that is possible?

Thank you
Hey Steve,

Hm, unfortunately there is no way to achieve this currently as there is no way to exclude groups from specific categories on the groups listing.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your clarification. Question I have (forgive me not knowing this, I don't have Facebook, if Pages are an option there), what is the difference between Groups and Pages? Does Pages act similar to Groups? If so, this may be a work around to my original question. If they act similar, then I could hide the Groups on the navigation so members cannot access the tickers directly and members wold be able to create their own discussion groups. That is the way I'm thinking. Please advise.

Thanks,
Steve
