Hello,

I have migrated all the posts from K2 to EasyBlog, but the category hierarchy went mashed, Right all categories set to root, there is no parent child category hierarchy set in EasyBlog after migration as exist before in K2.

Hey Rakesh,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. EasyBlog currently does not migrate the "tree" hierarchy. It's migrated in a flat list. Anyway you could just edit the migrated categories and set a parent category for them

What about if we migrate first back into Joomla content (K2 to Joomla) and successively to Easyblog? Does this keeps the tree?

Hey Leo,

Hm, unfortunately we don't keep the tree right now. Is there a lot of categories?

Hi Mark,

There are 72 categories exist in K2 that will migrate.

Hey Rakesh,

Ah, I see. Unfortunately we don't migrate the "tree" currently

A pity but we have to live with that. I do hope though that you will adjust the migrator so the tree will be kept in the (near?) future. I mark this closed now

Thanks
