I am using EB Version: 5.0.8

I would like to migrate my K2 articles (including images) - is this possible? The migreation has completed successully however none of my K2 images have migrated. Do I need to update to the latest version of EB?

Thanks,
Johnny
It looks like your account isn't tied up with any subscriptions on our site. Is there any mistake on our end? Would it be possible for you to contact us at https://crm.stackideas.com and provide us with the order reference and your username so that we can fix this up for you?

No it's no mistake, I purchased EasyBlog last year however I'm only getting round to installing it now. Could you just let me know if this feature is possible please?

Thanks,

I recently imported a site with around 1,000 K2 items and it worked just fine using the K2 Migrator.

Hi Sean. Thanks for that.

It did work for me on the second attempt, but only the images that were inserted in the article text area were migrated. In K2 when creating and article there is an 'image' tab, none of these images were migrated.

The image tab is explained here https://getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/1371-k2-images-quality

These are the main K2 images. Should these not also have migrated?

Thanks

I am sorry to hear that. For some reason that was not my experience. I also used K2 images from the image tag on every item. Those images came across and became the EasyBlog Cover Images. So, I was very fortunate. The extra fields did not all come across. So, I recreated them by hand. But, I hope they will be able to improve that in the future.

The other place where the K2 migrator fell down on the job slightly was that it did not understand about nested categories so if you had two categories in K2 with the same name but different parents they were merged into one category and place on the top level. What I did to get around this was rename the categories in K2 just before the import.
