Hello,

I am a Swiss DJ, and music is my life. I have buyed this music player - the best available on the market:

https://codecanyon.net/item/zoomsounds-neat-html5-audio-player/4525354

As you probably know, a lot of (jung or not) guys want to become a DJ. There is several site i.e. soundcloud, beatport, mixcloud, and many more... And tone of DJ with their own website, powered by Joomla or not...

You, the Stackideas Team, create some converskit, some templates, and, of cours, some components.

I have TWO questions:

1) Do you never think to create or develop a music player? Because you have so much talent, I think if you create one, you will probably sale it a lot, a lot, a lot... THIS IS JUST A QUESTION, do you plan to create other things as templates or your four major components? (eb, es, ed + komento)

2) Are you available for "freelance" or develop some projets? I love this player, and it's possible to comments the music on the "music stream", but of cours, I dont have acknowledge for create an easysocial integration, or komento integration. Do you think it's something possible? But I can imagine that will take you 10'000 hours and cost me some milions :-)

So, I ask you that because I was thinkin "maybee Stackideas can have interest (or not) to develop some others projects ? I.e your own chat (converskit) system ?

I think if you "adapt" or create a player similar to my attached picture, with easysocial integration, it can maybee a nice business for you ? Or not, I dont know, I just ask :-) I can't say you will be rich if you do that LOL

Enjoy your day !
What I try to explain (excuse my bad english) : you dont create only components, you created a converskit system.... metaman system... templates................................ so, any interest for a music player ?

Hello Yann,

In EasySocial 2.1, we do plan to add audio support and this player is exactly what we were searching for! However, I am wondering how are those waveforms being generated. I wonder if they require tools similar to ffmpeg to generate a waveform like this.

On the demo, their waveforms doesn't seem to sync with the audio or am I just missing something here? You are good with music, perhaps you could shed some lights on this?

Hi Mark,

Regarding how the waveform is generate, I was affraid too, but it require ANY external library. Any API key or link-to-external-service-site... You can generate manually the waveform.png OR you do NOTHING, the player generate a waveform in real-time, the documentation is well, you will obtain all answer of your questions... and this is why I buyed it - I don't want to request my webhosting to install ffmpeg... It work WITHOUT ANY external library, or link, or........... nothing! CHECK YOUR FACEBOOK PM, I will send you THE ORIGINAL .ZIP from Themeforest, then you will have access to the entier source-code + documentation.

--> Facebook message send :-) Take a look...

If you check http://www.yannanderson.com/music/en this is the version where the player generate AUTOMATIC AND REALTIME the waveform... The form you see (for each of my mix - approximatly 60 mixs) take 0 seconds of my time... IT'S REALLY... AUTOMATIC !

Thank you Yann, appreciate it very much. Perhaps this was done using HTML5 as I believe HTML5 has automatic waveforms generated.

In my case, I have installed http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla/extensions/roksprocket . Then I have modified the joomla-admin for this component.

You can access http://www.yannanderson.com/music/administrator (i will give you my ftp details) and you can see how I have modified that, using the php "foreach" function...

Some of modified code by myself (nice if you see it) is in this folder /music/components/com_roksprocket/layouts/mosaic/themes/default

And the rest of the code (js functions and more) is in my yannanderson.com/music/templates/official (this named template-official-index in attached file)

and item.php and index.php are the rocksprocket modified files... I send you attached pictures too... It's just my project, but I am a DJ, not a developper but I'M SURE my ideas can help you. Finally, if you adapt this player for Joomla / JED (with or without stackideas integrations) you will sale it 1000000000 x I am sure LOL

Thanks for sharing this Yann Our concept is to introduce an "Audio" section similar like what we have with videos and along with it, all the bells and whistles like wave forms and play list. All of this will be available within EasySocial without needing another extension or plugin.

Here are some pictures after several hours for re-design the player... I like the "mix" between the player and ECHO template...

I just share my ideas with you <3
