Hello,

after re-installing my website (ftp + sql)
i have uploaded to 2.1.6 this week-end... it was ok

Today, i was facing .js problems and i have tried to upgrade to ES 2.1.7 and i stay stuck on step 1...
something is going wrong with my website and .js files (can click to go to step 2)

i had error messages about .js version like : "site-2-1-6.min.js"
so i have decided to manually uploaded 2-1-7 version...
(i uploaded all files from /media/scripts/ folder from /com_easysocial_full_pro_2.1.7_joomla/setup/packages/com_easysocial_2.1.7_component_pro/media/scripts/ )

and now i have less error messages (see below) but still can't upgrade ES 2.1.7 :

Hope you can help me

Hey Loic,

Hm, I already completed the upgrade for you so you don't need to upgrade it. When you upload the extension, it will request you to proceed with the installation. Upon clicking on it, it will then redirect you to the setup / upgrade screen.

As for the js errors, after much searching, it seems to be coming from the Kunena app . Not entirely sure why it is generating the default.js but will create a ticket for this internally. At the mean time, I have commented out the codes from the app to prevent it from loading the default.js file

Hey loic,

Hm, you don't need to upload the installer. You just need to proceed with the installation steps and you are good to go. We are working on a newer way of updating extensions within minor releases to simplify upgrade process in the future moving onwards with EasySocial 2.2.

By the way, the other js errors seems to be coming from Kunena but EasySocial should work fine as it's own scripts are isolated. The reason you had issue earlier is because the upgrade process did not complete.

Hi mark,

you don't need to upload the installer. You just need to proceed with the installation steps and you are good to go.

how can i proceed with the install ? when i click continue, nothing happenned...

By the way, the other js errors seems to be coming from Kunena

the "ReferenceError: Class is not defined default.js:13:5 <anonyme> https://www.xxxx.com/media/kunena/js/default.js:13:5" only appear in ES dashboard page... on kunena pages everything is ok...
are you sure there is no relation with ES ??
