Hi SI team,

I have just moved my site onto a new template (off JSN Mico and onto iReview template from JReviews).

I think it looks much better and is MUCH faster however I am finding a couple of small issues. For example, I have a Quick Reg module (embedded in a custom HTML module) on the homepage however it does not work at all. I also have the ES Logbox embedded in JReviews (com_content) detail pages however it is dead also (ie the Register your Account Today button does nothing) with the new template. I suspect that they are both failing to load the relevant js file/s for some reason.

Also, I am using the Latest Blogs module from EB in various areas of the site. Most of the time it works fine however on some pages (and seems to be intermittent) again it seems that it fails to load module.css. This seems to only happen on JReviews pages (category and detail pages) but only sometimes which is weird. You can easily tell if it works or not - the module is in the right hand side column on most pages, if the images are in the top right corner it has loaded module.css correctly, if the images are shown in top left corner then module.css has failed to load.

Can someone have a look for me please?

Homepage Quick Reg module can be seen at http://rentalcarreviews.com.

To see an example of the ES Logbox issue, please see http://rentalcarreviews.com/usa/nv/dollar-car-rental-reno-tahoe-international-airport-rno-nevada-usa (one of about 24,000 pages where this is happening)

For the Latest Blogs module issue, you can try any category page by drilling down through levels starting at http://rentalcarreviews.com/car-rental-car-hire

Thanks for your help,
David
Hello David,

I tried to access the page that you have mentioned and clicking on the login dropdown, it seems to work fine as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/XbalwglVJ . As for the module styling issues, I believe that this is probably related to your cache because as soon as I clear the cache, everything seems to be working fine. If you view the module at http://rentalcarreviews.com/car-rental-car-hire , it seems to be fine now.

I probably think that there's a 3rd party plugin that's trying to modify the output of the html?

Hi Mark,

Thanks for replying so quickly. Actually I wasn't talking about the dropdown toolbar - it works fine everywhere.

If you look at the same page but scroll down to the bottom you will see the Logbox module that I am referring to that is not working. The same issue is still there on the homepage as well with the Quick Reg module being completely unresponsive even after clearing cache so I still need some help please.

I will check plugins but am using very few. It's weird that the EB module styling works sometimes and not at others on the same page......

Thanks again,
David

Hi Arlex, sorry about the delay. I have been working on the same problem with the guys from Jreviews as well since it is their template.

Anyway to let you know, problem is solved. I have set the 2 scripts for logbox and register modules to load in index.php which solved the problem.

Thanks for your help,
David
