JReviews announced an addon integration for Quick2Cart yesterday, as both components integrate with EasySocial, does this mean we now have the complete solution for multi-store and multi-vendor eCommerce with a social community?

I use Mijoshop and regard it as the standard for other eCommerce products to reach in terms of all round features, quality and support, BUT it still does not integrate with EasySocial and I just wondered, with the recent updated release from Quick2Cart, is it now time to switch?

Any thoughts, Max/Robi/Sean/Jannik from this thread?
Good to know Richard. I use MijoShop as well, but have never tried integrating with EasySocial. My only issue with JReviews is IonCube, but that's just my own opinion. Otherwise, it looks like a great extension for job listings and classifieds, and is most likely my next big purchase to integrate with ES.

If it helps, I use SiteGround for hosting and IonCube is preloaded by default with no issues when using JReviews (now in version 2.5) to date, if you need a trouble free IonCube experience.

No Jan, but not because it is not possible to do so, the plan for the private community took me down a slightly different (mobile app/driven) path that allowed other key elements to be included.

If you refer to this thread it gives an initial indication why I have JReviews/EasySocial/Mijoshop (with all Stackideas products) as the the foundation for developing a community with a multi-store option as primary/secondary considerations.

EasySocial is at the centre, with the main Mijoshop store linked to/available on Facebook and members allowed to buy products with EasySocial Points.

JReviews handles multiple categories of (Store/Non-Store) listings/reviews that integrate completely with the EasySocial Stream and Member profiles.

Therefore members have 2 options as a Vendor:

1. Use JReviews to list products and link to their own external websites (for a fee).
2. Use Mijoshop to set up their own Store and sell products (for a fee/commission)

The 2 options do not overlap.

It took a lot of planning to work out what was the best structure for this community and it will always be different for anyone considering developing an online community environment but as long as you take the time to decide how you wish to build it, the JReviews/EasySocial/Mijoshop (or JReviews/EasySocial/Quick2Cart as Q2C has come a long way since 2014) combination is an awesome set up that allows you to do whatever you want.

I regard all 3 products as outstanding, matched only by the level of support and quality of personnel involved in all 3 companies.

I cannot comment on Quick2Cart as I have not used it (Mijoshop was purchased first before Q2C really developed as a multi-store option) but I use JGive and have a very high regard for the product, support and personnel at TechJoomla.

In summary, JReviews is so flexible you can use it for anything including a multi-vendor product listing integrated with Quck2Cart or the linked but independent route I followed above with Mijoshop and both with work perfectly with EasySocial.

However your primary consideration (imho) should be the best structure to provide the most suitable environment for your community and then decide on the combination of initial software you need that also allows additional elements to be included as the site develops.

I use the ES Login (Guest Access) and Logout (set to one of my Registered ES Profiles) Menus with ES Admin/Settings/Registration set to Quick Mode in Mini Registration and in ES Admin/Settings/Users/Authentication the redirection page can be set to anywhere on the website after logging in and out.

The Register buttons on Stackideas toolbar dropdowns still go to the full Registration page so you need to adjust them in overrides as follows:

Change registration to login at "$link = FRoute::registration();" for:

..templatename/html/com_easyblog/login/default.php - at line 59 (using wireframe theme file)*
..templatename/html/com_easydiscuss/toolbar/default.php - at line 308 (using wireframe theme file)**
..templatename/html/com_easysocial/toolbar/default.login.php - at line 36 (using wireframe theme file)
..templatename/html/com_komento/comment/form/login.php - at line 67 (using Kuro theme file)

You also need to do a similar override in Mijoshop is you decide to include the Account (Login/Register) Menu item within the Mijshop store area (or just leave it out and keep Currency/Wish List/Shopping Cart Menus).

Mijoshop handles everything in house including integration with EasySocial Points and the ES login/logout user process but nothing else (there are no Mijoshop apps in the EasySocial store).

You need to think of Mijoshop as the standalone/bit of integration multi-store route and Quick2Cart as the tight integration route with ES but not with as many features as Mijoshop yet but moving in the right direction (others who have used it can advise on how good it is).
