Hello,

We have an issue with the location field on the registration. I copy here the comment from my developer:

The jQuery validation of map address field is not working on registration, it submits the form and then shows error that field is required. It should be query validation.

You can check here: https://vonkelemen.org/leeloo/es/

This issue is very bad for us: we assign scholarships to students based on country (so we need the location feature), and this bug takes the flow out of the scholarship applications.

Please advise.

Please try this:
Go to the registration page, click on the X to remove the location (that we made automatic).
Even though the location is required field in admin, the registration will go through anyway

You will get the message that the location should be required on the next page, instead of JQuery

Hi there,

Oh. Sorry for confusion caused above. It should check by jquery first. It seems that i can replicate this and this fixes will be included on our next release version. Thanks for your understanding

Hello Abdul,

This is critical for us as it completely breaks the flow of the scholarship applications for hundreds of students:
1. Student gets to: https://vonkelemen.org/leeloo/es/aplicacion-beca and clicks on Register.
2. He registers and should stay on the same page after registration, to proceed with his application.
INSTEAD of this, he's taken to a dead end page: https://vonkelemen.org/leeloo/es/registration-es/pasos/1, no application and he's lost.

We have already lost hundreds of possible applicants before realizing that this was the issue.

So this is top priority for us, we can't wait for next release version.

Please give me a solution that either we can implement on our end, or a solution that you can come up with as a critical situation for the scholarships of hundreds of students.
