I just wanted to let you know that JoomlaBamboo has just released their latest version of their ZenTools Extensions that supports EasyBlog as well as Joomla Content and K2 content. Some of us have been asking for EasyBlog for quite awhile.

I have it working on one of my sites here:
http://www.drcarney.com/blog

The carousel at the top of the page is created using Zen Tools but loading EasyBlog posts.

Their page for ZenTools is located at http://zentools.joomlabamboo.com/

This is just an FYI. I love JoomlaBamboo and I love StackIdeas so this made me quite happy! Also, I have heard that their next template to be released will support EasyBlog as well.

Sean
Hi Sean,

Thanks for the heads up! This is awesome news to us. I'll contact the team and inquire more about this awesome tool. Thank you again for sharing!

They have plans to greatly improve the EasyBlog integration but released this version before the release of their EasyBlog template. At this point the EasyBlog options and parameters need improving but they are well aware of that and working on it. Perhaps somebody from your team can even give them some assistance. :-)

Hi Sean,

That's a mighty fine idea there. I'll suggest to one of the dev to talk to the JoomlaBamboo team in assisting them with the development.

Hi Sean,

I have sent my questions to the developer but still in vain for a week. Would you mind to share some of your experiences for my below questions?

1) Does it supports "Teamblog" & "Author" filtering?
2) For category filtering, can I set to filter with or without sub-category ? or multi-categories?
3) Does it supports "Advance Routing" with SEF from the EasyBlog? means I will not get the url like /components/zentools/index.html?balblaablalba

Thanks ahead.

Hello Alfred,

Perhaps you should try directing your questions with Joomlabamboo directly? I guess you would get better / faster response there
