we are not able to do an update. nor sure as to why that is?

Hey there,

Are you referring to Joomla Update or JV-LinkDirectory extension update?

If it is Joomla Update, you have updated to Joomla's latest version which is 3.9.1 already.

If it is JV-LinkDirectory extension, can you consult with your JV-LinkDirectory extension Provider regarding this issue as it is not developed by us?
