clearing cache, and looking for updates show this error now.

Update: Could not open update site #35 "EasySocial Update Server", URL: https://info.stackideas.com/jupdates/manifest/easysocial/extension.xml
Hello Dennis,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Hey Mark, I won't enable FTP access as it is against my security policies.. until Joomla comes up with a secure method of password transmission and file access I will not use it..

I will update the backend details to my dev site. I noticed that when I rebuilt the update URL in my live site, the ES update server was removed.

Hello Dennis,

Did you install one of the RC / beta releases earlier on this dev site? We have removed the Update Sites in the stable release of EasySocial 2 and it shouldn't be added into your Update Sites. I have removed it and it should no longer appear now.
