Ok, so throughout the day I shared 2 different css overrides that I had used, but the first one broke some buttons in the profile page, and the second one only worked in the profile page... so honestly, I don't know if CSS override is the right way... so I guess we wait for support to come with a better solution.

Take a look at the file /administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/dependencies.php at around line 46 you should see that block of code.

I replaced line 46 with: define( 'SOCIAL_SCRIPT_CODE' , '');

and it did the trick... I found it on an old thread here on the forum: http://stackideas.com/forums/remove-powered-by-easysocial
