Joomla reporting wrong versions of EasyBlog and EasySocial installed

Joomla Update is reporting that we need to upgrade our EasyBlog and EasySocial but they are actually already upgraded.

Joomla reports that I am currently running EasyBlog version 5.0.42. But, when I launch the backend of EasyBlog it shows that I am running version 5.0.44

Joomla reports that I am currently running EasySocial version 2.0.12. But, when I launch the backend of EasySocial it shows that I am running version 2.0.13.

Anyhow, I thought you would like to know.

Hi Sean and Elias,

It seems that this is becuase of Joomla's cache. By the way, i have cleared those cache for you, Sean, but, Elias, i cant access your backend as i got blacklisted and those updates shouldn't shown now. By the way, i have cleared those at Backend>Extension>Manage search for those components and 'select all' then 'refresh cache'. Hope this help

It did help in that it cleared up the problem. But, it still seems odd that it is happening since this is not something I am used to seeing happen. :-) Thanks for showing me how to deal with this if it ever happens again. :-)

Thanks for updating Sean, glad that your issues are resolved now (If I recall correctly, one of the previous versions had an issue and refreshing the cache should fix the manifest file)
