There's a few problems that we are experiencing on a multilingual site regarding EasyBlog and it's integration into a Gantry 5 template.

The Category pages on both languages do not show any modules on the page, however the blog items are displaying modules as expected, I'm assuming this is because they are inheriting it from the blog page.

The following error appears on some blog page Trying to get property of non-object in /home/graitec5/public_html/components/com_easyblog/router.php on line 66
Example can be found at https://graitec.ca/en-ca/component/easyblog/categories/architectural?Itemid=714 (underneath the menu)

When clicking the category link https://graitec.ca/en-ca/?Itemid=714 or the tag link https://www.graitec.ca/en-ca/?Itemid=725 404 component not found error appears.
Hi there,

It seems that there are issues on 5.x version as currently you are using joomla latest version and somehow, 5.x is not compatible with latest joomla version. Currently, the only way to solved this is to use this method http://take.ms/k9Crm, putting the Easyblog frontpage's menu item or update/upgrade to it latest version.

By the way, i have set it for you and it should works now. Please give it a try and see how it goes

Hi Abdul,

Our developer logged this post on my behalf, but I don’t think that the problem is yet fully resolved - The thread had been locked so I responded email mail - Mark then opened the case so I could re-post

I have gone into a test post on the site which is Test Support informatique – fr

This posted to language French Canadian but I keep getting errors whilst in edit mode – at first it is just two , but then it grows as below (See Posting Errors)

The primary languages on the site are Fr-CA and EN-CA but this seems to be referring to en-GB,

In addition (and possibly related) we are unable to upload a site map without getting an error/rejection from Google - We are using OSMap

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$alias in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 432

Deprecated: Non-static method osmap_com_easyblog::getTeams() should not be called statically in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 621

I have raised a case with Joomlashack but they have responded saying we need to speak to yourself on this aspect

Our OSMap-EasyBlog Plugin version is 5.0.2 and the OSMap Pro version is 4.2.13

It seems that right now i didnt hit those issues when i tested on your site. It seems that everything works as it should and your current structured looks different than the one i used to check before.

Please advice.

Hi Warith

I am not aware of any changes that have been made - but I have just amended the same post and did not see the issue this time either.

However I can clearly still see the issue with the sitemaps - same error on both sitemaps

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$alias in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 432

Deprecated: Non-static method osmap_com_easyblog::getTeams() should not be called statically in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 621

Please advise

Hi there,

Actually, i also cannot replicate this issues on your site and no error shown on my end

Deprecated: Non-static method osmap_com_easyblog::getTeams() should not be called statically in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 621

By the way, this is our known issues on older version of Easyblog. I have updated files above with it latest version and should works fine now. If still persist, it would be best if you can show us on how to replicate this on your end.

Apart from that, may i know why you still didn't updated/your Easyblog to it current version, v5.1.x? As we already fixed a lot of issues/bug and it is less buggy that what 5.0.x actually and it should tally with Joomla current version.

Please advice.

Hi Warith,

go to Components>OSMap Pro

Click on link English (en-CA) to open sitemap

Error is on top of page (please see also OSMap Easyblog error image attached)

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$alias in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 432

Deprecated: Non-static method osmap_com_easyblog::getTeams() should not be called statically in /home/graitec5/public_html/plugins/osmap/com_easyblog/com_easyblog.php on line 621

If I try to submit the sitemap to Google the sitemap errors (please see Google sitemap error 17Aug image attached)

Response from Joomlashack on support ticket detailing sitemap submission error

This is directly related to EasyBlog and should be reported to them. I found the same error inside the XML sitemap. That is what google is complaining about.

Re version of Easyblog - I do not know so I will check with the developer, that said I do not see any notification of an easyblog update required on the control panel?

Whilst I check this please can you continue to check out the sitemap error issue - Thanks

Kind Regards

Dave

Thanks For you help
