I have previously responded through email. The gist is that I have reinstated the original installation, found that the problem disappeared for a short time, and then reappeared. I am presently checking on potential jQuery/Mootools issues (amongst other activities). I will get back to you soon, but I do appreciate the support.

Hi there. Just ran into the same issue with Joomla 3.3 and EasyDiscuss 3.2.9422. Console shows the following when I try to select the Frontpage Layout menu type for EasyDiscuss:

Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #jform[params][category_id][]-lbl jquery.min.js:2

Then when I try to save I get the following console message:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'isValid' of null index.php?option=com_menus&view=item&layout=edit:315

Screenshot attached.

Note that every other EasyDiscuss menu type behaves just fine, it's only when I select the Frontpage Layout that I run into problems.

Hi Mohd

The screenshot appears to be of the default Joomla Featured Articles page menu. I suspect that you may need to be looking at the Easy Discuss Discussions (Frontpage Layout) menu page for the problem.

and see how it goes.
