Hi SI Support Team,

I've used EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog at this point and I've always had the same menu issue that I've never been able to resolve. Why won't the toolbar menus of your products synchronize with the main Joomla menus set up for the site? For example, I have established menu items for each item contained in the EasyBlog toolbar (Home, Categories, Tags, Bloggers, and Team Blogs) on my site. I have their respective Joomla menu items set up for each: Frontpage Blog Layout, Categories Layout, Tags Layout, Bloggers Layout, and Team Blogs Layout. Whenever I try to navigate from the EasyBlog toolbar, the Joomla main menu does not follow. See the attached image.

Do you have any idea how to resolve this? I've tried to use sh404sef and other methods but can't figure it out.
Hello Mel,

Sorry for late reply to this,
It seems like you have installed the SH404SEF component in your site, can i have the permission to remove all the Easyblog SEF URL after i help you configure the correct Easyblog SEO setting from your backend? Because we need the system regenerate the correct URL and see is it can solve this problem? Please advise.

Hi Arlex,

Thank you for working on this. It appears to be working better but now the tags don't work. If you click on a tag, it pulls up all posts instead of filtering them by the tag. Any ideas?

Thanks!

This is odd. Can you provide us with ftp access so that we are able to debug this issue on your site because I cannot replicate this issue on my local.

Please be advise.

Hello Mel,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, it seems like there is a conflict between your alias name and EasyBlog view name
I've renamed the alias for your categories, tags, and bloggers menu item and now the links should work correctly

Please verify again.
Hope this help and have a nice day
Sam
