Not sure how to address this. I have seen after login on the front-end that I am logged in as a different user. Then I login again and then i am logged in correctly. I post a blog for testing and after posting I am logged out again. URGENT

I had included credentials in this ticket and they do not seem to take. What am i to do to let you know this info.
Hello Abraham,

I don't seem to see any login details provided on this ticket. Could you edit your post and include the site and ftp access as well? By the way, are you already on 5.1.7?

Thanks i can able to login from your site now, but it seems like work fine for me after published a new blog post on your site, you can check my video here : http://take.ms/DQXWi

But i realised when i try to logout, it didn't show log me out but after that it will auto show logout when access another few pages on your site.

May i know do you have install any cache session plugin or some of the cache system from your server recently?

Hi I saw the video. One you were already logged in and I did not see the status of login (Hi Stackideas) after you posted the test blog. I have heard this from various members of this site. So when you login via Easyblog toolbar, the user becomes CherylPeyton, logout and login it is the right user. Then post new blog the login is needed again, somehow the system thinks you are not logged in. There is no caching at all on this site, not plugin, even the Joomla page cache plugin is disabled. Also it seems on the frontend the loading for new blog or change blog is very slow.

I do hope you find this issue for our members. Thank you!

Hello Abraham,

I am able to replicate this now and I am pretty sure this has something to do with your web server's cache. I wasn't logged in as JimHartsell but for some reasons when opening with Safari, the entire site is showing me as though I am logged in as JimHartsell, http://take.ms/ghpaB

On my initial inspection, I thought it was something related to EasyBlog but the (login) module that you have at the top of the page isn't from EasyBlog and this leads me to realize that your web server has responded with the headers X-Proxy-Cache which I believe is from Nginx.

After performing a very thorough search on that, it led me to https://serversforhackers.com/nginx-caching

I would strongly suggest that you contact your web host. There is nothing you or I can do because this is on the web server's layer.

Okido. I suspect this is a Joomla 3.7 issue as we never had this issue prior. Could be, you think?

Hm, if you have already turned off all the cache in Joomla, I don't think it could be related to Joomla eh?

Mark I did the update and now there is NO issue as far as I can see. Very STRANGE.

Would you mind to try as well on authorsguildoftn.org/AGTTEST?

Also are you aware that the loading when one wants to edit a blog it takes a long time (more than 10 seconds) to load?

Hm, to be honest I really don't have any idea at all but I am pretty sure that this isn't related to EasyBlog since your login module (from Joomla) is also rendering the incorrect information. If this is an isolated issue with EasyBlog, then certainly it is from EasyBlog.

Perhaps you should wait for Joomla 3.7.1 and see how this goes as I believe they have addressed quite a number of bugs from 3.7.0.
