Hello Caizergues,

For the third time, since I have been kicked out already twice while trying to selct appropriate tags.

Where did this issue happened on your site, please provide us access to your backend and FTP also if possible screenshot of the issue at hand, please advice?

i migrated joomla content into easy blog. Can I assumme Easyblog made copies, and safely delete unneeded joomla articles and categories ?

EasyBlog migrator does not delete your Joomla article but just copies it in to easyblog. Please make backup before migrating just in case if anything goes wrong in the process.

Thanks:)

We will look in further regarding on your issue, I did not have this problem yet using the forum. sorry for your inconveniences.

Could you please read it again and make a specific yes or no answer ?

'No' easyblog do not make backups and 'No' it will not delete the Joomla article after migrating.

Thanks:)

Thank you for your answer, but It seems we have some communications difficulties here !
You wrote :

and I have seen that
'No' easyblog do not make backups and 'No' it will not delete the Joomla article after migrating.

Therefore my question again :
Can I assume that Easyblog content is independent from the initial joomla content and delete this, if it is not needed; Said otherwise deleting joomla articles or categories will not affect Easyblog content.

Regards

Hello Paul,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as I was currently not available during the weekend as I was attending a Joomla conference in Thailand.

I am really sorry for the confusions earlier here. In short, EasyBlog does not use the same tables as Joomla article does. It uses it's own table. So when you migrate the content / category, EasyBlog is just replicating these items on EasyBlog's database tables.
