I submitted this question, privately, to support, but realize that many others may wish to know this answer, too.

How easy is it to switch from JomSocial to EasySocial? Is it easy to switch back? What does the switch entail?

Thank you so much. I am loving everything from you guys so far, and would love to just integrate all of it, but after so many weeks of work with JomSocial, I fear destroying what I've created and not being able to switch back if EasySocial turns out not to be a solution.

Hello Troy,

I believe I have responded to you in the ticket Anyway in case others are also wondering, we have a built in migrator which migrates contents from JomSocial to EasySocial but unfortunately we do not have an "exporter" per-se. However, if you are playing with EasySocial, you can just have both extensions running concurrently and it would still work out of the box

I just wanted to say that the shift from JomSocial to EasySocial was 99% seamless, and I completely understood how I could run these parallel to one another while testing them out. And while I think it's a bit dangerous to make the migration only one-way, I won't be having a problem with it because I won't be going back to JomSocial. Other than a few concerns (like the lack of proper forums in Groups, and the inability to post images/video to Discussions in Groups, which is vital for a network) I am SOOO happy with EasySocial. Thank you guys for all of your hard work! I'm smitten! -troy
