I decided to dump jomsocial and join easysocial. However, during the mitigation process I have encountered two issues.

First, I am having difficulty viewing the user profiles. When I click a username on the front end I am just re-directed to the dashboard. (see update below for more details)

Second, some of the user's posts did not come across. What can I do to resolve this? If you login to my site with the information provided below you will see easysocial under the PLN top menu link and Jomsocial under the community top menu link. An example, the very first post by one of the students in Jomsocial is not on easysocial.

Update - Still trying to figure out the user profile issue... no luck. Have adjusted permissions, re-installed easysocial and each time I click any username it does not take me to their profile. It just takes me to the dashboard. This includes users who are marked as my friend. The same thing happens when trying to view user points and badges. This also occurs when trying to view my own profile, points, or badges. It occurs on event and group pages when trying to click the audio link. Turned on error reporting and there are no reported errors.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you didn't create Easysocial - (User) Dashboard Layout menu on your site so caused this issue unable to go to the respected page when you click on those Easysocial link.

For now I've temporary switch this Easysocial login menu type to this (User) Dashboard Layout , it should work fine now.

Also can you show me which student stream item not showing in Easysocial wall? So i can better have a check?

Thank you so much for fixing that profile issue! I was searching and troubleshooting and could not find the answer on my own.

ISSUE 1: User posts not mitigated from jomsocial (NOT RESOLVED)
All of the user general activity posts in Jomsocial did not mitigate. So most had blank profiles and lost all their content. I still have it on Jomsocial. You can see all the Jomsocial, most of which are not on easysocial post-mitigation, posts and hashtags at rtscholar.com/community. I attached an image of an example. A post you can see that did not mitigate to the user profile from jomsocial.

ISSUE 2: Security toke error when users login (RESOLVED)
I keep having to manually clear joomla cache because if I don't I get the following error when logging in and out: "The most recent request was denied because it had an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again." After turning off system cache a cache file called "page' appears in the Joomla "clear cache" section and still creates the issue. Each time a user logs in after logging out they get this error. If I delete this cache file. They can log in until it is re-created.

****UPDATE 8/4/18 @ 2:05 p.m. MT: CACHE ISSUE RESOLVED: I have found the source of the easysocial cache problem listed in Issue 2. Posting here in case anyone else has a similar problem. To fix disable the joomla plugin - > System - Page Cache. You can leave system cache on in global settings if this plugin is disabled.

At the time of this error -
Joomla Version 3.8.11 Stable
EasySocial Version 2.2.3

ISSUE 3: Users not able to access profile pages (RESOLVED)
I am having difficulty viewing the user profiles. When I click a username on the front end I am just re-directed to the dashboard.

Based on what i checked, it seems like last time you perform that migration is not complete, because this table `nfojm_social_migrators` use to record what data migrated from Jomsocial, but it seems like there do not have any 'userwalls' data record, i suspect some where hitting some issue during migration.

What if you can grant us permission to help you do the re-migration again?
But before we re-run this, you have to uninstall Easysocial and remove all the Easysocial #__social_xx table from your database.
Then i will install Easysocial on your site again and do the re-migration.

You have to update your site FTP access at your first post in case we need troubleshoot this issue.

I see. Will this delete all my new user information with easysocial? It sounds like it will. I have already had multiple new users sign up on easysocial, and have had them post new content I don't want to lose.Is there a way to mitigate without completely dumping everything I have?

Hm, first i thought you haven't let your site user to use Easysocial, so i suggested you do that in my previous reply.

If your site user already start to use Easysocial then that is not possible to do the re-migration.

Because that is not possible to keep those new post content.

Can you do the full backup on your site and your database data as well first? So i will try manually run that migration process only for migrate user activities stream from Jomsocial.

Also can you update your site FTP access as well so I can modify some of the code into Easysocial core file, so it will only run again the migrate process only for migrate user activities stream from Jomsocial.

Ok. I have done a full backup of my site and it is complete.

I have also updated the ftp information on this post.

PS - Another issue just came to light. When using the blog post link directly in the EasySocial Activity feed it will not let a user post the blog. When the user hits share it deletes the content and turns yellow without sharing the post.

Thanks, I already manually run the migration from your backend, it should migrated those stories post from Jomsocial to Easysocial, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Regarding with your second issue :
Based on what i checked, it seems like this 3rd party plugin Content - Rapid1Pixelout caused this issue.
I've temporary disabled this from your site backend, you can able to submit new blog post from Easysocial.

You are amazing! Thank you for your help through this process Arlex, this has been a tough mitigation.

I have one last issue. When trying to place modules using the easysocial module positions used in your documentation, I am unable to. I put the proper module position in the positions list and make sure that my module is public and available on all pages.

The ones in my backend that I cannot get to show are the -> Your Goals Modules that I am trying to place in the following positions:
1. es-dashboard-sidebar-bottom
2. es-leaderboard-after-contents
3. es-profile-sidebar-top

Again, you have been amazing. I apologize for being such a pain. I try to troubleshoot everything I can on my own and only ask when I cannot find the answer in the existing posts on the helpdesk.

You're most welcome.

Actually this "Social Goals" module only appear for the login user.

Because this purpose of this module is to show the current logged in user whether they complete their goal or not.

You can refer on my attached screenshot below.
