Hi There,

I am testing Easysocial migrator for Jomsocial on localhost and wondering why the User's album are not being pulled to ES. I also found out that the Jomsocial setting is using Amazon S3 for Photos/Avatar. Could that be the problem?

Thanks,
Jackson
Hey Jackson,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. If these photos are stored on Amazon, you'll need to bring these items back first. Once these items are stored on your local storage, the migrator would then be able to pick them up.

Hi Mark,

No worries, hope you guys are having a great break! You guys need it

Anyways, I moved over JomSocial images from S3 to /images/ folder and rerun the migrator. Unfortunately, I still don't see user's album photos. Does JomSocial configuration for Remote Storage has to be set locally for the ES migrator to work properly? Or simply having Jomsocial tables and files makes ES migrator work?

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi Jackson,

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend, FTP access as well as phpMyAdmin access so we can check the jomsocial photos tables and determined whether the path is set correctly or not.

Please advise.
