I've just replace Kunena's forum and commenting features with Kommento and EasyDiscuss on my Joomla/Jomsocial website. I found that Kommento and EasyDiscuss don't integrate as nicely with my Joomla/K2 articles as Kunena used to.

May I know what sort of integrations are you looking at? You wouldn't want to integrate Komento's comment in EasyDiscuss since Komento is used for a different purpose on your site. I am assuming that you want to enable Komento on your normal Joomla / K2 items?
