As long as you select a group, it will be perfectly fine EasyBlog will perform some checks internally to only allow members of the group access to the blog post.

sorry for not responding to your last message. It seems to be fine. Just one question. That radio button that says site wide, should there be an option to deselect it? I just have the one radio which is by default selected, and no option to deselect. What does site-wide actually do?

I think my problem was that I hadn't selected the actual Group under site -wide. I thought it did this automatically.

We have actually altered the group selection of JomSocial to be in a dropdown so once a group is selected, you don't have to worry about the "site wide" option
