Please excuse me if this has been asked already. I tried searching first but can't seem to find the help I need.
I recently added the "JomSocial Group Blog" to my EasyBlog. I activated the feature (plug in) already.
1) My question is how do I go about only allowing group creator/moderator to create post for their group only?
also, I see when the EasyBlog user has the option to post site wide or group. But I don't want the average blogger to have access to post to a group categorie, or one group creator able to post to another group section?
Is this possible? Did I miss something is the settings, maybe the ACL,or some other setting?
I already have profile type set up so I was wondering if I over looked a setting?

If this option is not available will it be i the future? Or do I need to set some sort of approval for the groups?

2) My second question is how do I disable type of post (i,e video quote, photo..ec)
Id there a way to disable or hide these features?
My site is video based but everything needs to be handled trough Jomsocial; being i have a video approval and profile type extensions that need to control these feature.
So there is no need for the extra option in posting a new blog

Thanks for all the great support!
Hello Kobe,

For your first question, we are sorry but there is no setting to restrict average user from selecting the group. We will discuss this with our developer about this feature. And we've tested in our local, the creator of group A can't post to group B unless he is the member of the group.
As for your second question, you can disable it by going to your Backend>Easyblog>Settings>Workflow>Microblogging and turn off that option.

Hope this helps.

Nikm thanks for the seedy reply.
Hopefully these will be something available in the upcoming build. I will be testing for " group A can't post to group B unless he is the member of the group" this afternoon.
Until the feature I asked for is available maybe I can work on customizing more profile types to cover my question.

As for my second question; it looks like that's exactly what I needed.

A big thanks to you and the staff for top notch support.
