You can change the meaningful profile type name from backend > Easysocial > user > profile type (screenshot : http://take.ms/lba9d )

If you do not want to show the profile type name on the user profile page, you can turn off it from backend > Easysocial > Setting > user > layout > Display Profile Type - NO

Oh I did look here but couldn't an edit button. Then I just saw you had to go inside to change it
I called them legacy users instead.
I think you could change it in software so the word jomsocial doesn't appear - no need to advertise them

The reason why we called it to "Jomsocial default profile" is because we need to identify where this user migrate from, so this will be good for everyone to know in case something went wrong, it would help technical support to troubleshoot this issue as well.

Maybe an explanation to change this could be put in the manual or in the software so people can know straight away.
Speaking of manuals and the software.
I sometimes notice that the wording in the software and on some parts of the site could use better words.
