The group shown in my screen capture is set to Invite only.

Issue 1: when I left the group I could still select the "join the group" button. This should not be possible.

Issue 2: After selecting the Join the Group button, the message appeared indicating this was an open group - however this group is not open.

After closing the message I am redirected to the social timeline and an error message appears indicating I am not allowed to access this page. This message is correct, however item 1 and item 2 should are not correctly managed.

In a separate post, I am submitting a feature request recommending the addition of a Group Detail - Allow Leave Group yes/no.

Hi there,

We have already addressed this issue in latest version of easysocial where user will be redirected to dashboard once they click on leave group button. Perhaps you can try to update your easysocial version 1.3.28 to latest version and see how it goes?

Hi, Ezrul,

Thanks for your review of this matter. You are always very helpful.

My current version of EasySocial is currently 1.3.28 and Items one and two in my original post are still occurring. Specifically you fixed the redirect after the user selects "join" group. I am correctly connected to the group homepage after I clear the join group message dialog shown in the screen apture.....however the group is an invite only group, as a result, I should not be able to join the group and the resulting message incorrectly suggests the group is open. See screen capture and original message details.

You can test this directly using the saved site details. Use the user account noted in site details to login to my registered users pages and select "My Courses" from the menu in the header. You will see the page noted in the screen capture attached.

I look forward to your feedback.

Thanks!

Erzul,

How can I create a "User Export" shown in the screen capture that filters the users by EasySocial Groups not by Profile Type? Even if in the short term I needed to run this outside the current user interface, this would be a good short term solution. I recommend adding this filter as a secondary filter so EasySocial administrators could run a report filtered by profile type, group or both filters.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Hi Tkabe,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I believe we have some confusion here. Currently the latest version of easysocial is easysocial version 1.3.30 while your current easysocial version at your site is 1.3.28 where you can download it from the stackideas dashboard here, http://stackideas.com/dashboard . Perhaps you can try to update it to version 1.3.30 and see how it goes.

How can I create a "User Export" shown in the screen capture that filters the users by EasySocial Groups not by Profile Type?

I am sorry but currently it is not possible to do so . You can however submit this idea inside our easysocial voices page so that other people can vote for it, http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial .

In your earlier post you asked me to upgrade to the current version to see if that fixed the trouble. Your post 9/21/15 said the current version was 1.3.28 at the time you made the post it was presumed an upgrade would solve the trouble. The upgrade did not solve the trouble. Can you check this issue again since the upgrade recommended did not solve the issue, I presume a code issue still exists. If this issue is in fact included in the code upgrade from 1.3.28 to 1.3.30 then I will upgrade after my site goes live during a scheduled upgrade.

Thanks for your comment regarding the User Export question I posted. I will send this request to sales rather than voices.

Hi Tkabe,

I am sorry if the sentence "upgrade your easysocial version 1.3.28 to latest version" is misleading you. I was testing using version 1.3.30 in my initial reply above and not able to replicate the issue here. I guess the fix is include in the code upgraded from 1.3.28 to 1.3.30. Please give it a try.
