JCK ver 6.4.1
ED Version: 3.2.9599

When I change the editor to JoomlaCK, I get the following error

Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /home/hiacom/public_html/interkex/libraries/cms/editor/editor.php on line 514

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/hiacom/public_html/interkex/plugins/editors/jckeditor/jckeditor.php on line 62
Hi William,

Hi William,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I have checked your site and it seems the issue is confirmed coming from jckeditor. Can you consult this issue with jckeditor developer?

Please update us back once they provide their response.
Have a nice day.

Hello Mohd

No. I will not consult with the JCK developer. I would not even know where to begin. Their program works fine throughout the rest of my site. I've used JCK for years without problems. The faulty code is with EasyDiscuss. Since SI offers JCK as an editor option for ED, it is your company's responsibility to make certain that it is completely compatible. Otherwise inform us of the limitations or remove that option. Fortunately, it is not critical that I use JCK for the ED postings. I just wanted to provide it as a convenience for my users.

Hi William Matson,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I've tried to change your default editor to use "JCK editor" and save it without any error.

Even I create discussion post in your site also work fine for me, am i missing something here? Please advise.

Hello Arlex --

Thank you for your prompt reply. I will check it again in the morning. Perhaps the error I received was related to the 404 problem that I described in another support request posting, and which I solved. You may wish to look at that posting because I discovered a bug that caused problems with ED.

Hi William Matson,

Perhaps you can provide that post thread URL as you mentioned above so that we can take a look of this and see is it related this issues?

And keep us updated then if that error still persists after you check, if yes then provide us step by step how to reproduce this issues in your site.

Hi Alex --

The 404 error (bug?) is described here. As I noted, I solved the issue for my situation.
