Hi, I just updated to easyblog 5.0.17. When i select JCE editor as my editor in composer i cannot see the toolbars when creating a post.
Hi Anthony,

I just checked your site and try to use JCE editor and it seems like everything is loaded correctly. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/BmPvzfUBE . Not really sure how to reproduce the issue.

Hi Anthony,

Ah I see. This is actually caused by JCE permission issue where registered user will not be able to use JCE editor by default. I've helped you to fix this by adding registered user group as part of the permission from your backend > JCE > editor profiles > setup > user group and it should loaded correctly now.

I set the acl in joomla user manager to register/author. It works now. But with that said there doesn't appear to be a way to save the acl settings in easy blog.
Thanks.

Hi Anthony,

If you have set another user group level for your joomla user, you need to add the user group manually from JCE configuration. What I did is adding "registered" user group but not "Author" and by the way this configuration has nothing to do with easyblog itself as the ACL setting is came directly from JCE. Nevertheless glad that your issue has been resolved now.
