so my editor JCE doesn't load on the front side of the website ... I suppose a css script conflict ... is there a suggested fix ... thanks so much

also I'm using yoothemes nano2 and I do have some mods in a custom css file that the template uses perhaps this is the conflict ?
Hello WIlliam

I found your problem. The problem is happen when registered user try to post or edit blog. The registered user didnt have the permission to to that. You can change the permission from Component > JCE Editor > Profiles > Default > User group. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/iQ8T5IC7lSpP .
Try this, hope it will work. Thanks.

Hello William Jones,

Correct my if i getting wrong meaning of your first post, do you mean that you the JCE editor doesn't load in your frontpage ( http://wosecommunity.org/ )?
Or the JCE editor doesn't appear on Easyblog write blog post content there? Is it possible provide us some screenshot which part you referring to? Please advise.

yes when someone logs into the website on the frontpage selecting the blogs menu in the top most menu on our public facing site. then they login as a blogger and elect to edit an existing blog or create a new blog then no jce editor and even tinymce isn't working on the front side

I am having the same problem as well. Fixing the permissions didn't help. No editors at all (JCE or otherwise) are showing up in the frontend. Could this have anything to do with implementing file overrides? I did that recently for the site I am having issues with the editor not showing up. Could it be that the path to the editor somehow got messed up?

Yes. I do have the site backed up should anything happen.

I don't mind doing that myself though I won't be able to get to it until later today. Either way would work fine. Thanks.

It just happened after the last update to most recent version of EasyBlog and Joomla. I've always used JCE and use it on a number of other sites. Also, I am using the template overrides. I thought maybe that was causing an issue somehow.

Find FTP access in site details.

Hello Mirjana,

I had found your issue, it is because there is a conflict between JCE editor and System - jQuery Easy. When I turned the plugin off, JCE loads up alright in the write layout on the front end.

Thanks:)
