JB Type like plugin for EasyBlog (usingJCE)

Tried to get JB Type plugin and the add on for JCE editor working with EasyBlog and it doesn't work like it does in a regular joomla article. Was wondering if there is an alternative as my search hasn't produced any result. Anyone else use this plug in with JCE and EasyBlog? How do you guys spice up your blogs?
Hey Brian,

EasyBlog does trigger article plugins just like Joomla articles. When you mean it "doesn't work", is it not processing the embedded codes at all?
