Javascript error when posting reply as guest

Hi,

Reply is not showing immediatly when posting as guest. It causes to have several times the same reply recorded becasue the user cannot see that anything happened when clicking on the reply button.

When debugging, I notice the following javascript error :

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data foundry.js:8544:0
SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data foundry.js:8544:0

from the folder /media/foundry/3.1/scripts/foundry.js

Any idea how to solve this ?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Did you customize any theme files of EasyDiscuss? It seems like as though there are some additional codes that are added like "ondragstart" which doesn't exist in the vanilla of EasyDiscuss.

Can you please advise? If you did perform customizations, can you please revert the customizations temporarily so that we can pinpoint where the error is?

If you are still hitting errors after reverting the customizations, please provide us with the FTP access so we can troubleshoot this.

Hello lilou,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like the plugin "Anticopy" causing the the page unable to call the ajax in order to display the replies. When I disabled the plugin, the error message went away.

Perhaps you might need to consult with "Anticopy" developer regarding with the issue as this error is not caused by easydiscuss default behavior.
