Hi there,

we are in final phase to complete our preparations for go-live of our new page with Joomla4 and latest available versions of EasySocial/EasyBlog and PayPlans.

During the tests we have created pages on frontend with test user accounts.
There is an option to either upload an avatar picture on the very top via the 'settings' button or on the bottom in the form.

But it is not possible to upload an Avatar picture on the top - see screenshots.
It only works in the form.

Why ?
Is this a bug or setup issue ?

There is no issues with Canvas.

Best regards
Markus Berwing
Hey,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. There is a high possibility that the upload failed to work because there was some issues when the script was trying to upload a picture.

If you can provide us with the access to the site, we'll investigate and let you know. I tried to access http://abc-deutsch.de/ but it seems like it is just a placeholder page.

Hi Mark,

thanks for your reply.

Please note that our domain abc-deutsch.de is just being used for the final tests before go-live of our new site with Joomla4 and will then be moved to the main domain. So we have just placed an index.html placeholder to avoid direct access.
You can use abc-deutsch.de/index.php for frontend access
The backend access is working as usual and I have already provided the full access with login credentials.

Regards
Markus

It would be best if you can correct your site details from https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so this will speed up to assist your current issue process next time.

Come back to your current issue, you can watch my attached video below, it seems the upload avatar process seems fine for me, perhaps you can test again whether this issue only happens for a specific image? If yes, you can share the original image file to us so we can investigate this issue again on your site.
