Hi

We just upgraded our ActiveStart site Easysocial and discuss but now have some issues.

The site no longer loads, it was fine before the update but now it is just a blank page. See attached image.

We also notice error lines in the Profile section in the profiles, again please see attached image.

Can someone take a look please.

Thanks

Mike
Hello Michael,

Can you please edit your post above and provide us with the activestart.org login and ftp credentials please?

Looks like the errors are being thrown by the overriden module in ja_social ii . I have renamed the module folder under /templates/ja_social_ii/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu and the page is working fine now.

<b>Notice</b>: Undefined variable: modules in <b>/homepages/39/d568401025/htdocs/ActiveStart/templates/ja_social_ii/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu/default.php</b> on line <b>131</b><br />

<b>Fatal error</b>: Call to a member function html() on null in <b>/homepages/39/d568401025/htdocs/ActiveStart/templates/ja_social_ii/html/mod_easysocial_dropdown_menu/default.php</b> on line <b>131</b><br />

I believe JA is already working on an update for JA Social II but it wouldn't do any harm if you nudge them on their forums

HI, Thanks for that, we are still getting the error string in the profile types? is this linked?

We are also getting an error when someone registers? This would be linked I guess. See additional pic.

It seems that we cant replicate them on your local anymore as you can see here http://prntscr.com/d4ijbn or got any specific ways to replicate this issues? if yes, can you specify them to us.

Please advice.

Hi it's not at that stage. It's when you add an avatar and header then click submit. The error occurs then. Also in the backend when you change an avatar.

Hi there,

It seems that the problems exist because of the group you have set to be auto join in your "Single User Licence". I have disabled it and it seems to works fine now. Error message shown http://prntscr.com/d4jstb and no more error on registration as shown http://prntscr.com/d4jrqm. Hope this helps
