Joomla: 3.4.3
URL: http://www.indydoulaassociates.com/index.php/doula-blog/entry/tongue-and-lip-tie-correction-an-interview-with-dr-mikel-newman

I have the "listing" option set under Post Cover to 320x320 and that seems to be working fine. I changed the "entry" setting to Original and it is still showing as 320x320.

What am I doing wrong?

Kim
Hey Kim,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

You already have it in the ticket I had submitted before you moved to the forum. Take a look at Ticket: #42414 Posted on: 04 August 2015 12:53 AM. I actually have been waiting on a follow up of the three messages I posted earlier.

I was telling you that in that ticket is the login information to the site. In the ticket is two other posts that were not responded to that have nothing to do with this issue.

I think I am making things more difficult for you. I only sent you to the ticket because I knew I was still waiting for the answers to 2 of the last 3 posts. I am filling out the site details below... hopefully that will make it easier.

Hi Kim,

Thanks for the credentials. I am able to logged in into your joomla backend now.

I believe there are some misunderstanding here regarding on the post cover image size and how it actually works. The image width size will always follow the width set from the setting from the screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/nzEmdzjtMUS regardless on what image size you are choosing. This option is used to uniform and standardize all of your image entry size to use the same width to make it look neat for all of your blog entries.

However since you want the sizing to follow the image size set from the picture size setting, I've applied some modification inside your /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/entry/post.cover.php and the image size should follow the image size set from the backend now, http://screencast.com/t/CYM1AEP0WN05 . Kindly backup the file mentioned above for each update to avoid the modification from being override.

Sorry for the delay in writing back. I had recently had surgery when I posted that and I am still recovering.

Why can't the "original" image be used for the cover post? That is what I had selected.

Hi Kim,

Not a problem. We all wish you a speedy recovery from your surgery.

Regarding on your inquiry above, the post cover do use the image size set from your backend; for example original size. However in order to uniform all of the post cover across your easyblog site, we have enforce to always follow the width set from the backend hence the image will not appear as full size as what it might be. You can refer to my previous reply for a better explanation regarding on post cover image.
