Hello,

I am having some issues setting up my facebook connect. I have both the app id and secret key entered, but when I click on facebook connect, I get an error message: "he given url is not allowed...."
When I go to my developper page and try to enter my website url, it wont take it.

Hi,

The namespace is an alias for your app. It serves as an unique name for Facebook to identify your app.

I filled out the namespace, still does not work.
It still won't take my app domain.

Looks like Facebook came up with a silly and unfriendly update again. You need to click Add Platform > Website first before you can set the domain. It's extremely frustrating that it doesn't show proper error messages. I have configured it for you now.

Hi,

Sometimes Facebook has this issue where subsequent changes are not saved properly. Usually when this happens, what we do is, we delete the app and recreate it with the exact same settings.

I've done this on your Facebook account, and used the new app id/secret in EasySocial settings and the Facebook log in is now working properly.

Thank you,
Since you deleted the app, my existing facebook page is no longer associated with this app.

How can I link the new app to my existing facebook page?
Here is the facebook page i would like to link to this app:
http://www.facebook.com/senegalonline.net

Thanks

Hi,

It seems like there could be some wrong settings on the Facebook part as Facebook recently updated their app settings for some users. Could you provide us the Facebook credentials as well?
