We just changed our site from http to https.

We are having a problem with EasyBlog where whenever we try to update or create a blog entry we get the following error " Call to a member function update() on null". When I download the website to local computer and turn off the https: then everything works fine. So, it obviously is a problem with https that we haven't been able to discover yet.
Hey Gala,

It seems like your site Easyblog still running older version of Easyblog which is 3.x , do you consider to upgrade to Easyblog 5.2?

If yes, can you do the full backup before we proceed upgrade your site Easyblog to latest version?

Because this 3.x version it might be not compatible with the latest Joomla version.

Also can you update your site FTP details as well at your first post.

Thank you for your information. My husband updated EasyBlog per your suggestion, and now the site is working fine. Thank you for your help! We should have thought of that ourselves!
