Hello EasyBlog comunity,

on the latest release of easyblog I'm having some issues with Joomla 3.1.5 selecting a Article Category. In the dropdown window when creating a new article i can only see the category "Uncategorized" and every other Joomla category is missing.
Any ideas on this?

Thank you and best wishes

Simon
Hi,
I've understood now that easy blog categories and joomla categories differ from another. To get to my topic this doesnt solve my issue yet.
How can I show certain articles on my joomla homepage? I thought showing a category blog on home would help, but with the distinction it doesnt seem to. Any suggestions?

Thanks and best wishes

Simon

Hello Giorgo,

If you want to show blogs in the Joomla Homepage you can try the Latest blog module. Please head over to the downloads page and get it http://www.stackideas.com/downloads You can install this and place it in a module position in the homepage. This module will display a list if latest blog posts. Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Thank you, this might be a solution to my issue. Not sure yet if the module on homepage has a little effect on siteload, but I think with caching I'm able to solve this.

Best wishes

One more question, for the main blog area I've used the Italian Language file and everything works. For the "Latest blog module" the "Continue Reading..." link is still written in english. Any ideas where to change this?

Thanks again

Hello Giorgo,

The language files are in

JOOMLA/language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_latestblogs.ini

You can also download the translated version here

Hope this helps.

Thanks!
