sorry to bother you guys again, but I thought i'd let you know, that I copied ( using akeeba ) the current alterego site locally to AAMPS which works beautifully, and now on the front page I see two php warning/errors and when I went to the backend it said there was an update to 1.2.9 which I ran and at the end of that it said.
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www\ae\administrator\components\com_easysocial\setup\bootstrap.php on line 120

there 2 errors on the front are ..
Notice: Undefined variable: menu in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www\ae\administrator\components\com_easysocial\includes\router.php on line 349

Warning: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ampps\www\ae\administrator\components\com_easysocial\includes\router.php on line 352

Please dont' shoot the messenger

yes, and mark, you missed the "it on the local aamps"
i.e. localhost I can of course hide the errors by adding ~E_NOTICE but thought I should bring it to y'alls attention

Hi,

Are you on the latest EasySocial? Because I am not seeing the correct reference to the variable mentioned in the file as according to the error message that you've posted.

as I stated in the 1st post, I'm on 1.2.9 ( see image ) which as of this second is the latest.
Why its talking about "menu" i don't know. I'm going to take a quick glance & see if I can find anything. see the image for the current code in the file.

Hello Troy,

Is there any way for you to upload this to a temporary location so that we can troubleshoot this? I need to hunt this bug down!

I'll try t/m morning to replicate it on the dev site. else I'll have to give you TeamViewer access to my system. I can't help but wonder if having Jomsocial is the cause. I tried with a perfectly clean joostrap base quickstart and it did not do this.

Hello Troy,

Thanks, let me know if we could do a Teamviewer too. I'll be on Skype later today as I am currently working with our accountants to finish up our financial year statements

Mark the issue has suddenly resolved itself. I have no clue what caused it. maybe some kind of cache issue?
