Issues after importing database to new website

Hi there,

After importing the database to the new site, a couple of issues remain:

1. I can't sign out after being logged in.

2. I can't change the language of easydiscuss. It says, it will update automatically if I installed German (Germany) in the background? I did install German and set in on default, but don't know how to change the language of easydiscuss.

3. Can I update to the lastest version which I have purchased a couple of days before or will it cause even more issues in my situation with the imported database?

I'm sorry I never know what is meant by ftp server adress. I put the three possible options.

Hello Chantal,

In the latest version of EasyDiscuss, we use the pencil symbol to post a question because it makes the toolbar look less cluttered. However, if you want identical button like you had in the previous version, you could enable the ask question module.

I have enabled the module for you on the site and it will appear under sidebar-2 as you can see at http://www.stillforum.ch/index.php/index

Regarding with your current issue, everything will be solve when you upgrade to Easydiscuss 4.

May i know what is your previous issue when you upgrade to Easydiscuss 4?

By the way, can you do the full backup on your site first so we can preform Easydiscuss upgrade?

I made a full backup. and tried to update to easydiscuss 4. However, the installation process of easydiscuss full pro 4x gets stuck at the post installation cleanup at about 45% (see attached file).

I already help you updated to latest version of Easydiscuss, can you give it a check again is it everything work fine now?

But I totally miss the "ask a question" button! How are users supposed to aks a new question now? I don't get it, and if I don't maby my users won't either....

And I notice, that the start page image is loading like forever since you made the update. What could this be?

Also, I wil have to edit the intraductory lines above the forum - where can I edit them in the new version? Or if not editable - where to delete them?

I found out that I can ask a question after the login by using the "pencil symbol". But I would like people to see kind of a "aks a question" button already before they are logged in like it was before. Or like you have on your site the "open a new ticket"
