I currently have around 400 posts that I have migrated from my wordpress site. However it did not seem to grab any of the main article images for the posts. It was able to pull images that were added to the articles main body and also any embedded media players but no main image. Is there any way to fix this issue as we need these images and would like to use the built in migrator.

Thanks
Matt
Hello Matt,

Currently the migrator only retrieves images that are embedded within the content. Unfortunately it doesn't pick the main image. If I recall correctly, the reason is because I don't think the xml file which was exported by WP contains these information.

Sorry for the delayed reply but I have found a plugin for wordpress (export featured images) that allows me to extract all of the featured images for posts into an .xml file. Would there be any way to use the migrator to pull the images and attach them to the respective articles in Easyblog?
I also know that if I perform a full content export from Wordpress and not only posts it does attach the featured image but would it even be able to pull the media when I use the Easyblog migrator?

Thanks
Matt

Hello Matt,

It depends on the XML file itself. Can you provide us the XML file so we can see if it can be added in the next release.
