Yes you can create group but description field isn't registered. You can see that after creation group or when you use precedent button. Description field is deleted each time.

I have tested this locally and it seems that this happens when you have too many steps/customs field during your Group creation. I have issues this to our developer and this will be included on our next released version

Currently, i would advice you to edit your Group and re-set your description as it will fetch the correct description as it will not go through other step during Group's edit.
