I am unable to add a task using Safari 10.0.1. When I click the create button, nothing happens. However, creating a task in Chrome works fine.
Hi there,

It seems that i can add task on my Safari 10.0.1 version as you can see in this video http://screencast.com/t/rSSkEkPK and this is my Safari version http://screencast.com/t/uK9RLk6yoIk. Maybe i have replicate it wrongly. Maybe you can provide us more thoroughly on how to replicate or maybe you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for further check on this issues.

Adding tasks in the area you gave as an example works for me. I've attached a screenshot of where I am unable to add tasks. Clicking the "create" button does nothing in Safari.

Also, my Safari is the same version as yours.

Hi there,

It seems that this issues comes from our end. Maybe you can try to upload attached file at this path .../media/com_easysocial/scripts/site/apps/tasks/tasks.js and see how it goes.

Looks like there is an issue with the way we detect the assignee id. The temporary fix which Warith provided would require a recompile of javascript.

Temporarily, I would suggest that you turn the site on development mode after uploading the patch from Warith earlier but this issue will be fixed on the next release of EasySocial.

Thanks. It's not a critical issue, so I'll just wait for the update to roll out. Any estimates you care to share?

Hello Jeromy,

We can't really estimate the exact release date for the next version.
