Hi there!

I wish people to have to register to comment on Articles (Komento) and Forums (EasyDiscuss) but to be invited and/or approved to have access to Community (EasySocial)

Is this (easily) possible?

Thanks!
/David
Hi David,

I'm not sure how your invite process works, but it is possible to allow users access to Komento, forums and not EasySocial.

Basically the users that are restricted needs to have a separate profile types from the other regular users. In the user's profile type, disable the Allow Community Access option(attached).

Then when the user is approved for EasySocial, you can switch their profile type over to the other one.

Hey David,

There is an invite feature in EasySocial but it's only for email addresses who have not registered on the site.

If the user already registered on the site(Komento/EasyDiscuss) but don't have access to EasySocial, the invite feature won't work. So in this case, you have to rely on other methods to invite them.
