Is there an front-end/dashboard button to enable/disable Featured?

Reasoning: I have set the Latest Blogs module set to only display Featured blog posts on the front page. I want my users to to easily enable or disable 'Featured' from the front end when composing their blog post via a button. (I have turned the change Featured option to on in the ACL settings)
Hello,

If you allow the users to set the featured status, they will be able to set the featured status when they browse the blogs on the front page of the site.

But when they first write the blog it is not featured so does not appear on the front page/in the latest blogs module. As the latest blogs module is set to display featured posts only.

Switching to 'Featured' needs to be a fool proof as possible for my users. (They are not that technical).

Hello,

Currently there's no way to actually set a blog post to featured when you write a blog post because not everyone really uses them. However, if they have the privilege to feature a blog post, they could view the blog post and under the dropdown menu they could feature them as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/IvfQjSR6hQB
